VRE #325 |
Description: |
VRE #325 backing into NS Van Dorn yard lead to load passengers at the NS yard office, a temporary station. The location was used for one day, May 30th due to trackwork on CSX between here and Washington, DC causing long delays. Rather than subject passengers to extensive delays on CSX, VRE and NS worked out a stop here so passengers could transfer to the nearby DC Metro. All Manassas line commuters, 13 trains were affected. Local NS power idles on the main. |
